The Unveiling Ceremony of The Battle of Bramham Moor Information Plaque

This year marked the 600th aniversary of The Battle of Bramham Moor.
In commemoration Bramham Parish Council instigated the erection of a plaque marking the site of the battle and giving information about the events of that day 19th February 1408.
His Grace, the Duke of Northumberland whose forebear Henry Percy, 1st Earl of Northumberland was a major participant in the battle and who was killed on the moor, agreed to unveil the plaque and open the village gala.
