NEWSLETTER MAY 2005
Our summer event this year will be a
NAAFI Night/ VE Celebration on Saturday, 2 July.

We have lots of good ideas for making this an entertaining and enjoyable evening for all the family. There will be music & songs from the era; plenty of games and a tombola, etc. Supper will be eaten at long tables in true ‘street party’ style and a licensed bar will be available.

Dress will be 1940’s style either uniform or civvies, whatever you can lay your hands on!

If you can help with setting up during the afternoon or with the catering, please let me know.

Tickets are £8 Adults/£5 Children. £20 Family ticket (2adults+2children) (These prices include supper).

N.B. Tickets are cash with order, please. A committee group member will deliver local tickets, otherwise I will post. (Make cheques payable to Bramham Drama Group)

Please also note, to avoid confusion with the play, I will be responsible for tickets sales. Tel: 845828.

"Veteran drama group member, Arthur Tindall, is shown celebrating his 90th birthday at rehearsals for Bramham Drama Group's production of 'Sleeping Beauty'

Arthur has been involved in amateur dramatics in the village since the 1950's and has been taken part in a wide variety of productions, both on and off the stage."

To honour his long standing commitment a special cameo role has been written for him in this year's pantomime."
